If you're interested in having dinner here, make reservations 3 weeks in advance! Even then there's no guarantee you'll get the time slot you want.|
We double dated with another couple and made reservations for 4 people on a Saturday night, 3 weeks prior and we were left with a 7:30pm if we sat in the communal table or 8:30pm for a private table. We opted for the 7:30pm communal table. The communal table seats 10 people and it's very very cozy where it can be hard to listen into your own conversation. Luckily that was the one and only downside. Everything else and most importantly the food (and service) was great!
The food was absolutely gorgeous in presentation and tasted just divine. For their standard pre-fix dinner it's $80 per person for 9 courses (counting the little in-between bite size tastings). It is pricey but worth what you're getting. I hear the food varies even within week to week depending on what's in season. What we had for dinner was so appropriate for the time of the year. The server was also obviously very passionate about the food when he was explaining what was in each of the dishes. It made the experience all the more memorable.
One of the guys in our party ordered a different Whisky cocktail (up to the bartender's discretion) with almost every meal and that was pretty awesome. Each drink was smooth easy to drink, yet complex and interesting at the same time.
We'll definitely be back.
